Yes and no. At some point VCs are gonna have to emerge that do carry small companies.

I’d love to see 1031 be one of these VCs.

take a look at what ten31 did with GRIID, total retail dump and then sell the company to Cleanspark. probably bailed a few people out right before the M/A announcement but Marty was talking to Harry and they were talking up how they wanted to build the company for the long term.

Someone was telling me the details about GRID - it’s not good - but good VCs are forged in failure - hardly a disqualifier

That said - if absolutely important to never look up to any entity without a high bar and always be adversarial.
