It has always been the plan and will likely get Brandon reelected. Kennedy is actually hated by the left, and most democrat voters. They all think he is a "crazy conspiracy theorist" etc. He will pull center right (fake libertarian) votes more than anything else.

I can't remember where I read it, but I recently saw a poll that showed around a third of Democrats would vote for RFK, Jr if he ran independent. Since I can't remember where I read it, I can't make a good judgement on the quality of the poll, but I remember thinking it sounded valid.
Also, just because someone says they will vote a certain way in a poll doesn't mean that is how they ultimately will vote.

Guess everyone can pack it up early and spare us all the “most important election of all time” nonsense. RFK will get the 10% that could’ve won it for the republicans and we get Biden’s corpse and whoever his inept VP is.
Moving forward expect more of the same policies (and probably worse) and be prepared for that.

I dunno man. I think it’s actually more even than you think. I know from asking people on my cab about Kennedy and believe it or not, people on the center left do not hate him. It could also get more people to vote DeSantis in the R primary.
You could well be right jack. But as an outside observer I think the maga cultists will stick with their supreme leader no matter what. Simply out of hatred for what the Democrats have done.
The more centrist dem types that don't want to vote R but can't stomach biden will flock to his banner.
