The Hideout Theatre is an improv theatre and coffee shop located in downtown Austin, TX who WONT accept cash for financial purchases. So I REFUSED to pay with my credit card and INSISTED on using cash to buy my energy drink.
The shows are great, the service is fantastic, and the guy behind the counter was absolutely awesome. However, this is a financially oppressive practice that if left unchecked, will become a glaring problem for ALL OF US in the very near future.
