By your (lack of) definition, literally any commodity or asset that is scarce and ever grows in value is a ā€œPonzi scheme.ā€ And/or it’s also a pyramid scheme because you’ve called it both despite the fact that these have very explicit definitions that apply exactly 0% to #Bitcoin

Again, not a question whether the function of #bitcoin is a proven function to serve as a tradable component to qualify as a currency, which it absolutely does to offer a living to many, but to discuss how to solve those fundamental flaws built into consumerism as an economic system and thus solving the flaws that #bitcoin inherits.

Consumerism isn’t an economic system. The frivolity and low time preference is a result of how our money works. It’s the opposite incentive created by a money that maintains and grows its purchasing power over time in accordance with the growth of the economic system as a whole.
