As a New Yorker I don’t get it
Off topic, what's my incentive to switch from Knots back to Core?
There’s a few reasons,

My comment

Has Luke been important to Bitcoin, 💯 he has. You could argue being the most important. I’d not attack the characters of people on either side no matter what their politics or beliefs are like.
But without core’s development knots doesn’t exist. Bitcoin’s development is Bitcoin core.
I don’t want to go down a path where I use “forks” in order to filter out valid transactions.
Yeah man probably there should have been a toggle switch for a choice, if that would have been technical reasonably I’m not sure.
I believe Knots is actually slightly older than Core (by a few days). Filtering out valid txs is how we got rid of garbage like Satoshi Dice, Colored Coins, Counterpary, OMNI, and many other stupid projects. I say, make running a node fun again. Enrage the shitcoiners. Make them rage quit like Vitalik did.
I get it. I want to see any devs move over or even better work on both core and knots.
Until I have to seriously reconsider for stuff that I find infuriating, core it is.
