expecting intellectualism from those in tech is not unreasonable - and the widely-promoted "college is not for everyone" crap by those who want high level jobs without detailed education is day by day proving how terrible that pump was.
education is not just about books. it is a mindset.
qualified personnel hire qualified personnel. and federal and state institutions should set the example for both government and subsidized hires. stop encouraging enabled ignorance. because in artificial intelligence - there is nothing interesting in someone who is "great at code" but is fundamentally one dimensional intellectually. if anyone believes ai is going to be an economy - glorified slave trade, but still - how does anyone expect that to develop meaningfully with profiteers, mercs, anarchists, and socially inept misogynists at the helm? (haha i hear it)....
