What Gospel is that? 🙏🏻🫶
Discussion
Was transcribed in the late 1800's so not an original gospel.
I'm going down the line to the Essene Gospel of Peace, book of Enoch and others from the dead sea scrolls next

Why do the Gospels say that is home town asked if this was not the Carpenter they knew. How would he be considered a carpenter if he was traveling the world?
Have you read this book? Cause in chapter 20 it mentions Jesus working with Joseph as a carpenter before the 18 years that are not covered in the modern Bible.
Also Matthew 13:55 frames him as the carpenter's son
I wasn't there for any of it, so I cant tell you exactly what was what. But when I pray for wisdom/understanding and books like this fall in my lap I give them a shot, and judge them by the fruit they bear in my consciousness.
Not trying to debate or attack your beliefs
I haven't fully comprehended everything in the Bible yet so haven't gone looking for other sources. But a book written 1800 years after events claiming to have more specific information than things written within 100 years of said event seems to be a bit suspect.
Fair enough. I tend to believe that the akashic records are real, and that a creator that loves us is never done communicating with us.
Like I said before, the only way for us to "know" anything is to trust our hearts and intuition to see if something resonates there
I agree he isn't done speaking to us. 8 also agree that the canon is not perfect and there has definitely been human meddling and twisting included in it. it seems like this book might contradict some teachings in other Gospels and points to Jesus being a smart man instead of the son of God and that any human can become like Jesus on earth through their own understanding. That seems very concerning on its face. Am i misunderstanding something?
I'll check this out. I'm reading the book of Enoch right now and it's wild
Reading the book of Enoch now. It's pretty wild and when reading the preface to it and considering the Catholic Church it's easy to see how they didn't add them to the Bible. Reading that and looking at Catholicism being the conduit to God pretty easy to see why it wouldn't be included
Here's the book of Enoch PDF with that preface
Starting with the Council of Nicaea in 325, they've changed the biblical canon multiple times since with various councils and versions of the bible.
The King James version being the biggest culprit which totally misrepresented 'Hell' and put more emphasis on an Earthly King's authority (the og statists lol)
I'll take a look at that preface. We don't own a copy of Enoch yet so if you have suggestions on good translations I'm all ears. Thanks!
I'm just reading the PDF in the link and listening to it on fountain
