Why are there no conspiracy theories about the atomic bomb, i.e. it never happened, like the moon landing or the holocaust?

A bomb with the power to wipe out a city sounds just like the perfect thing for conspiracy theorists to call as fake.

Society is not consistent.

Because the Soviet Union had already used atomic weapons once in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the whole world became convinced of the cruelty of the Russians and the terrifying power of nuclear weapons.

I think Owen Benjamin makes claims it didn't happen.

His most convincing argument involves the cameras they supposedly used for the closeups and interior shots of the buildings that were obliterated. Why were the cameras not destroyed?

I hadn't really thought about it before but it does call it into question for sure.

Concrete and rebar. Pinholes. Periscopes and mirrors.

We figured how to do that just fine.

Fair point. When he mentioned it, it occured to me I had no clue how they did that.

I'm not saying he convinced me, but that was one of his better arguments.

ahhh there are...

Thank you

how about that uranium munching guy?

good stuff!

Its not. Thats how they reset the world. With nukes. All crators are all nuke sites. Where is all this space rock they talk about.

Cosmic time scales don't really apply to us, like at all. Floaty rocks out there aren't always and forever putting a target on Earth's back, but it does happen occasionally.

If ome major event like this happens roughly every ~100,000 years we aren't lucky enough to not see it happen in our lifetime. Kind of a bummer.

There are.

Not as popular though
