No. You need a zap compatible lightning address provider and a zap-compatible nostr client.
If the client opens up your wallet with the lnurl, it can't work because the client itself needs to send special zap info to the zap endpoint for the zap to work.
What you should be seeing is your nostr client asking for an amount, you enter it, then an INVOICE opens in your wallet that you pay.
Amethyst can show zaps but I think it can't pay zaps.
