A server is much different then a modem. Different hardware. You could potentially create a device with this hardware, plus the hardware of a server. And create something like this. But it would take a massive amount of time to adopt.
Basically sounds like some year 2300 stuff lol. But not at this stage.
I did say theoretically speaking. Not saying it’s going to happen tomorrow but what if there were relays in every starlink, every appliance, every car, we wouldn’t need legacy infrastructure to send information. If relays were blanketed over the earth we would have a new internet which would be interoperable but not dependent on the legacy infrastructure

I’m thinking of a world where relays are like IOT and in every device from washing machines, to satellites to relay towers(cell towers). A future where every app/ client has a npub login. Once nostr can offer everything the legacy internet has we wouldn’t be reliant on it or have to use it.
