Hard to admit for some people but Unix time is likely going to have a more significant historical impact than the Gregorian calendar

Meh, centralized time keeping is overrated.

Time keeping without centralization is a paradox

Time keeping is easy, just buy an atomic clock. Time synchronization is the challenging part, but that's merely a means to an end.

there is no global time on earth

Correct, neither in the universe.

Not really hard. You define one clock as the truth and that's it, we've been doing it for a long time and it works great.

One day time will be remembered as:

• BNA: “Before Nuclear Apocalypse”

• ANA: “After Nuclear Apocalypse”

Plausible

Which one?

And devs will remember 1. January 1970 more than any other date haha
