Does anyone here intentionally try to consume media that is the opposite of their worldview? I find myself purposefully seeking leftist podcasts and (non mainstream) media to try and break out of the echo chamber. #asknostr

Is that a Chinese newspaper? I don’t mean to consume literal propaganda 😂 I wanna know what American leftists are saying so I can wrestle with their ideas. I’m also more of a podcast guy.

American left vs. right debate mostly looks like this. I try to look for a broader worldview. Foreign state-run newspapers are interesting to read because they can’t control 100% and sometimes interesting things slip through in the mundane articles.
