No way. The recovery time and possible needed surgery is not worth it.

That surgery can cost up to $50k. Recovery time will keep you out of work for several months. Don’t forget the misery and pain you’d experience along with the long term effect of the injury. Just because you have surgery doesn’t mean you will ever be back to normal.
