Yes, very inconvenient but good OpSec.

Same on Desktop combined with a security key.

The need from a HW key to be able to open the app is an excellent OpSec however the risk of losing the HW key is there, therefore, it is advised to have a backup of the Yubico in a safe place.

But.. Aegis has a lot more room for entries than Yubico...

KeepPassXC is another good solution if used with Yubico, most people don't know that KeePassXC supports second factor authentication as Aegis does.

Some cyber sec experts are uncomfortable with that, they state that having passwords and the 2FA codes in the same app reduces your OpSec, which IMO, is a valid point if you are a target or a honey pot of some sort.

For most people is an excellent OpSec

I think I'm gonna use both, actually. Yubico for the more important things and Aegis for everything else
