farmers have been regenerative for a long time/crop rotation & animal grazing with fallow times in family line.

can confirm, my mother was dating a farmer for a while and we sat in on his business and helped out some even got paid for doing so

he moved his herd around, he had anti-erosion ridges in his slopy fields, i sat with my back to one of the hides of roos that he shot to keep them from overrunning his fields, was quite exciting watching him take that one down...

Joel is the real deal. I’ve been to his farm and walked around, which he used to let visitors do (within reason). Learned a ton from Polyface farm. Lessons there drive me into the permaculture rabbit hole including Sepp Holzer. Amazing stuff how they regenerate unproductive land. Would love to steward some land again (when I grow up) 😂
