If I needed to move to another country to keep my Bitcoin where would I go? I'm super conflicted on the question as a proud American who strongly believes in our founding principles I want to work hard to keep America a great place for my kids to have kids and grandkids. BUT, my loyalty is to my family first, and if taking care of them means leaving the US then "see ya."

With all that being said I like Costa Rica, they seem to be on a good place that is sticking a good balance of ensuring safety for citizens and keeping mostly out of people's lives and wallets. Maybe Argentina, haven't been there yet thought so tough to judge.

Hopefully the States stand up for themselves and there will be safe havens here.

I think this our best chance of not devolving into a centrally controlled democratic socialist shell of our former selves.

1. States and municipalities building a hard asset Treasury of Gold and Bitcoin

2. States stand up to the federal government about the blatant violations of the 10th amendment

3. The federal government gets forced back into it's appropriate role of intermediator of the states and a provider of a portion of the unions defense (the states' National Guard units would become a much higher proportion in my mind as the states would be holding real wealth and the fed only green paper.)

TX, Alaska, and FL I could see being first movers in this.

Yes, I completely agree and if these 3 points don't happen, yeah we are screwed. Totally see those states leading the way as well, maybe Wyoming or New Hampshire too. Here's hoping to the best, because if this doesn't happen we will be exactly what you said! Heard it for the last 20 years, but maybe a convention of states is needed.
