Played around with matrix chat via my start9 OS today. Got my own server set up running over tor and synced between my lap top and phone. Pretty cool way to have uber private 'notes to self' across devices. Can see how it could be expanded to hosting chat services for friends, famoly groups to eliminate need for centralized chat/call apps.
