Oh that's disappointing, the people seem interesting here and I'm too weird for the normal dating apps π. I thought there were whole conventions for Bitcoin? Do nostriches not show up and meet there? I probably should beef up my privacy but idk, I'm not super concerned about it should I be?

Yeah there arenβt only bitcoin meetups and conventions, there are also Nostr meetups and conventions.
Iβm just thinking statistically, it might be difficult to build a dating app on Nostr at this time because there arenβt a ton of people and the people who are here tend to be very privacy focused. Itβs a trend, not a universal.
Itβs something I really do want to see. Dating apps and how they work is an issue close to my heart. I found my husband on one, but it took three years π and in that time I developed strong opinions about how things could be done better.
I've been single for the most part since my last LTR ended during the pandemic. It's like a different dating world completely post-pandemic and it's lame and the apps out there now are bleak π
