Nostr Web Client

I'm starting to think 3/4 of the people using this protocol literally have nothing else to talk about except bitcoin. Y'all know NOSTR has nothing to actually do with BTC and is in itself way more precious, right? I know this will be unpopular, but seriously, are you interested in anything else? Onboarding new people unfamiliar with crypto is gonna be rough going. If you're all about stacking sats, then build something cool, start a store, share your talents, etc. instead of just talking about zapping eachother all day. I'll be launching my store here soon and will be supporting others who are providing value to this ecosystem. Cheers to everyone who actually understands the gravity of what we're really dealing with here. Anyways, rant over. No hard feelings. Heheh.

Agree, but I must confess, slowly feeling more variety around here. I feel #nostr i quite not ready for the mainstream, but once it’s ready with whatever cool stuff this developers here build, its’ going 🚀⭐️!

i think you are kinda right saying it would be hard to get non-btc audience on a platform having reputation of “there’re are only bitcoiners” – and therefore we have to support ppl with other interests as well.

but i can’t say there are no ppl like that. i’ve seen nostriches interested in gardening/cooking/art and more

also, i didn’t get your point on “nostr is more precious than btc” – bc i do consider “precious” more of subjective term and expected “…for me” in the end.

It's more precious because without the uncensored, free flow of information, money is useless. This protocol just took over the world and changed it forever and people don't realize it yet.

Agreed! I was working on a multi privacycoin protocol to transact and communicate. They ran on shitcoins that eventually rugged. #nostr is what Im looking for (decentralized and somewhat anon) with transactions built in.

I could use more e2e encryption here but... hey I should get to work on that.

This feels like a key transition point- new platforms get a big boost from having an existing clique come over from an oldplatforms, but if you can't extend beyond that it chokes
