Medium lost me for good when they tried to KYC me for a $.50 payment. Eventually, they locked me out when I lost access to the email account I used to sign up. It was a good idea in concept that was broken by forced use of broken email and KYC documentation requirements.

Both of those broken systems have become unnecessary for those of us using Nostr for permission-less identity and bitcoin/LN/eCash payment protocols.

“Can you detect ai slop, not even issue, problem is that it sucks” yeah, I think Tony is right. I reckon that’s why podcast space especially on YouTube has legs at the moment. Real people talking bout real stuff.
