Thing that should not be normalized of the day:

Wearing glasses.

Human beings used to be able to see all distances just fine for their entire lives.

What happened?

SHORT ANSWER:

High-carbohydrate diets. All carbs break down into sugar, which glycate your cells and leads to inflammation across your entire body.

The capillaries in your eyes are extremely sensitive to this inflammation, so they're the first to start malfunctioning when you're metabolically unwell.

(Another early barometer for the dudes out there is your DICK. Yes, if you're dealing with ED at a young age and can't figure out why, go #carnivore and thank me later. But I digress...)

LONG ANSWER:

My recent podcast guest Dr. Lisa Wiedeman, IMO the most dialed-in eye doctor on the planet, explains this whole process in detail, as well as the strategies you can implement to heal - yes HEAL your vision in many cases 👇

More empathy must be spoken of as well. Many people worldwide are sick, suffering & disabled. The amount of times I’ve witnessed others on #nostr speak #ableist ideology is staggering.

Obviously 🙄 high-carb diets shouldn’t be normalized but in many cases it’s a matter of eating versus starving. There are multiple factors to this that others need to understand. Make sense?
