Tyranny is not “left” or “right” but the treatment of individuals as fungible parts of a group.
That feels more like "collectivism" to me (which also sucks). I'd probably add "and treatment of groups as means to an end."

Yes, collectivism is the basis of all tyranny. The rejection of the individual as an end in himself.
