I bought a big bag of daikon radish seeds this past winter, and I've been feeding lots of the greens to our rabbits. They love the stuff, and we like it in stir fry dishes. Some for the bunnies, and some for us. #gronostr #permaculture

Daikin radish is such a wonderful crop!
This is something I need to do in my pasture as the ground is very hard.
My mom used to eat pickled daikon. it smelt like death, but she loved it.
I never grew radishes because I don't like them, but I recently learned that their seed pods are edible and can be used in stir fries. Plus their flowers are pretty and they're good for pollinators.
I'm definitely adding it to my garden now. Good info.
Yes, I just harvested some seed pods! I havent pulled up any plants to look at the actual radish tuber though. Just been using the tops so far.
