Why are ā€œdemocraciesā€ mentioned instead of ā€œdemocracyā€? And why isn’t it the first point in the list?

Because of interpretive sovereignity:

- ā€œsave the childrenā€ means what they do is good. No questions allowed

- ā€œsocietiesā€ means whatever you include

- ā€œdemocraciesā€ means the countries you include and not the ideal

Get ready for a world where cancel culture takes center stage šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø

I don’t believe ā€œcancel-cultureā€ is the right term. I think it’s just neo-liberal marketing-speak coming from SEO texters. They want to reduce free speech to a soft all-pleasing marketing-speak with no edges.

Oh, or newspeak.

But do they really want to reduce language, or do they just Optimize it?

That’s the same thing, isn’t it? Outliers don’t go well with optimizing, so you remove them first. That’s 101 of data sanitation, otherwise your model/message will over- or under-fit.

You are right.

language is a human invention šŸ¤™ And the state should not control that development

I can agree with that.

In Canada they have government cancellation of truck drivers. In the UK they have corporate cancellation of politicians 🫄

I just don’t like the word ā€œcancellationā€ because it’s connoted with the woke movement. What happens here instead is good old oppression.
