New MacBook is here. Migration Assistant for just docs, or do we trust it for full migration these days?

Linux, yap, yap, Linux.

Personally I always just move docs. It’s a chance to really see what software you actually use, and what you don’t.

I’m thinking the same. 👍🏼

Congrats on the new tool brother. Tad jelly but my day is coming.

Thank you, sir. The 2017 MBP battery holds about 60 mins of charge. So, it was $250 toward a new battery or toward a new machine.

I get it. My 2019 Intel still holds a pretty good one, but since I don’t do any non-native development on macOS anymore, I’m really drooling at the performance and thermals of that M2.

I’m probably going to upgrade soon too but I’m not sure if everything I use works with apple silicon.

Think most of it works through Rosetta unless you have external hardware you’re worried about.

I can already tell the M2 screams. Pumped.

Can’t wait to see what you do with it. ❤️

🙏🏼

Yeah Apple man!

I let it rip.

Cheers. Meaning full?

Yep, specially if your confident want everything. As the other person mentioned. It is an op to do house cleaning and just do docs if you need. 🍻

I manually do it.. just docs
