Spent the last two days recovering photos and home movies from a media server we thought was lost. Now everybody's gathered around a laptop like the old folks used to do with their physical photo albums.
Taking Mr. Dvorak's advice going forward. Multiple copies stored in different locations on different brands of drives.
Very nice. We bought a few Super 8 machines so we could play old movies. We still need to transfer them some how to digital. You know you are old when some of your childhood videos are on Super 8 film!
