Exactly, it’s not your homies you need to worry about.

i have a feeling all of this comes full circle. i like that nostr doesn’t have the ability to delete. it separates it from the rest of the pack. but you do have to be much more aware of what you’re posting and how it could impact you in the future.

No doubt. With our business, privacy was jettisoned years ago, when a customer threatened to start a fakebook account for us, if we did not do it first. I resisted for as long as I could. I need to ditch it all, even my #nostr nym, which I love, and renym myself with a new npub. My attachment to my peeps is strong, and any reference back to old BitBees would render the whole exercise void, so I do nothing and detest my spineless self.
