I enjoy watching the birds, we have a lot of different birds, very diverse.
But I don't consider myself a birder.
Because I don't seek them out, I just live in the same place as the birds, they are my neighbours.
I enjoy watching the wallabies go about their day as well.
It's calming.

Might just. Used to go to local bird counts with my brother when we were in highschool but that was ages ago. Cornell Lab has lots of open source bird stuff so wouldn't be to hard to make a solid #birdstr client or a clone of Merlin.
