Somehow I’m still almost in the top 200 routing nodes according to Terminal Lightning. I’ve decreased my outbound capacity quite a bit after a lot of inexplainable force closures.
Hope the network can continue to improve but the reality is since I’ve been running my node for the past 2 years it does still seem difficult to justify holding too many sats in channels with this amount of instability.
Do you use LND?

Yeah, everyone I hear complain about forced closures has mentioned LND.
I’ve been aggressively ignoring learning about lightning but am in the process of getting a node set up. Going to start with Core Lightning for this exact reason. Maybe Core is just as bad or worse and it just isn’t as popular so I don’t hear about it, but my naive impression is there might be something about LND that makes it a bigger problem there.
But I will run LND too at some point just to get experience with both.
Yeah I think I need to jump into / out of running Umbrel but it’s how I started and the thought of switching my node over seems daunting. I’m not even sure if it possible actually
