In fact, these are just ordinary clowns making money from donations on streams, much like some speedrunners. Sometimes the cheating is exposed years later, but by then, hardly anyone cares, especially since they've already earned their money. Again, the majority of these cheaters are like that, and there's really no one to expose them because everyone has their own dirty secrets.
With speedrunners, a perfect example is GDQ, where invited "stars" mess up in ways that even I don't. Maybe they’re nervous 😏 or maybe... with PC, anything is possible.
Cheating’s a big problem in gaming & streaming, but I don’t think it’s likely here since he streamed everything.
It’s tough to pull off something this extraordinary just by cheating & then live streaming without getting caught.
Twitch & competitive games also have strict rules: get caught, & you’re perma-banned from streaming & playing. Recovery’s rare.
Just my personal thought, you never really know!
You can cheat 100% and everyone will clearly see that you're a cheater, or you can play well and only cheat in rare cases, like not taking damage from off-screen enemies, but only when you need it, not constantly. Both are cheating, but the second one is almost impossible to prove. That's why all records set on PC need to be devalued.
Twitch is full of scams. Especially in online games, and it's no secret that developers themselves adjust the balance for popular streamers with whom they have contracts.
With computer vision, consoles are no longer a panacea against cheating. In a few years, all the whores will be playing shoot-'em-ups of any difficulty like pros without ever leaving their pools.
