The reason so many old people are in positions of power is just another example of the cantillon effect. It’s not about your productivity, just how well connected you are to influence and the money spigot.

That’s why politician are old.

That’s why actors are old.

That’s why musicians are old.

That’s why the elderly are not retiring.

Mostly true, but they’re never getting the positive feedback for making the right decision, again cause money is so fucked.

There is a strong and growing cadre of millennials that are determined to break from our oppressors.

The generation before the boomers is the one i have the most respect for. Born during a war in Europe and eating potatoes everyday to survive and rebuild. We are all under the same oppressors, just some of us fair better than others in adapting and surviving or hopefully thriving...
