It shouldn’t need to be said, but old politicians are not making any decisions. They are offering their likeness to whatever apparatus has been built around them throughout their career.
Joe Biden does not make decisions.
Mitch McConnell does not make decisions.
Diane Finestien does not make decision.
The bigger question is, who controls these people?
How much of Reddit is just tattle-tails?
How many people think it’s worth their time to complain about someone in traffic?

Mostly true, but they’re never getting the positive feedback for making the right decision, again cause money is so fucked.
There is a strong and growing cadre of millennials that are determined to break from our oppressors.
The reason so many old people are in positions of power is just another example of the cantillon effect. It’s not about your productivity, just how well connected you are to influence and the money spigot.
That’s why politician are old.
That’s why actors are old.
That’s why musicians are old.
That’s why the elderly are not retiring.
I want to facilitate a transaction between two parties that was collateralized by BTC (preferably with lightning). Can someone share some links about how I can do this?
More -->
Let's assume I want to facilitate a loan of World of Warcraft gold between two parties. Each party puts up BTC as collateral so they can trust one another.
I'm thinking it would look something light this.
Alice agrees to loan Bob 100g, assuming she gets 110g returned one week later.
Alice and Bob each agree to put an equal amount of sats into a pot. This will act as collateral in case the loan obligations are not fulfilled.
Now there are different routes that pot can be distributed:
a. Happy path: Bob settles his debt to Alice. They equally get their sats back, minus a fee paid to me.
b. Bob fails: Bob is unable to repay the loan, Alice is awarded the entire collateral, minus a fee to me.
c. Alice fails: This path doesnt seem like it should happen in the example above, but presumably, Bob would be awarded the entire collateral, minus a fee to me.
Can anyone point me to resource that can help?
Thanks!
Now that we’re on the precipice of bank collapse, KYC seems much less scary, but self-custody seems all the more important.🤷♂️
If you were an advocate for socialized medicine in US, has Covid made that argument easier or harder to make?
