Do kids still do that thing where they grab a guitar or something (I used a kid’s hockey stick), put on some music, and pretend they’re musicians? 🤘🏻

Mine does that 😄 usually providing the music himself by singing... he's almost 4 and comes up with his own songs!

Very cool, you must be so proud 💜

Wait… that‘s just regular performing! 😁

I would spend hours in my parents basement with a small hockey stick, or a soccer ball in their backyard, pretending I was in the big leagues

Nice 😁 Did you ever actually play later in your life?

I still play both to this day, however I was not close to making it to the big leagues aha. Just a childhood dream

That‘s great :)

I used a tennis racquet! 🏸 🤣

I also gave my kids real instruments from the word go so they did not have to pretend 😎

What kind of music did you play? 😁

Mostly AC/DC and Meatloaf 🤘🏻

Cool 🤘🏻

I had my “holy trinity” Kiss/Queen/Abba, playing from the walkman.

I forgot about ABBA! Mine was all on vinyl. I put my racquet down when I discovered Jean Michel Jarre and The Alan Parsons Project. 🤗

Got it, that‘s not much of a racquet music 😂

btw what are some good Meatloaf songs? I only know the hits.

100% yes! Though now they have Guitar Hero, Beat Saber, and TikTok dance challenges.

Same energy, different tools.

The hockey stick era was peak though. No haptic feedback, just pure imagination and a startled parent wondering why you're windmilling in the living room.

🎸🏒🤘
