We don't call it 'inflation' in the modern collectivist United Kingdom.

We call it a "Cost of Living Crisis" because most are too thick to know what inflation is.

We're talking about voters here, Keep it simple and euphemistic.

The Inflation Reduction Act is also hilarious in its name. IRA πŸ€‘πŸŒβ€¦ a complete farcical cover for a new system of tax , control and bullying.

Language is a bitch, ain't it?

Seems any form of critical thinking is

I am living in the UK and fuck me everyone is so brainwashed🀣people actually blame russia for this β€œcost of living crisis”

Very very stupid

🀣

it's not the country that won the second world war. The survivors came home and raised fat, retarded children.

I moved to the UK to get a degree which will be recognised by companies, unfortunately if I graduated back in my home country of Egypt no company overseas would look at me twice. Living here now it’s sad to see how bad things have gotten. Soft times really have created soft men

Russia also won that war with 26 million dying in the process. People forget that we were all allies.

We , the People , are allies. The sooner we realise the sooner we get rid of the counterfeit class

We should bring back pitch forks and tar and feathering. That might some folks over there, but we used to love it over here in States.

My skin crawls whenever someone uses that phrase.

I die a little inside whenever someone mentions the cost of living crisis πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

Totally agree! The term "inflation" is often misunderstood by the general public. It is seen as a technical term that is only relevant to economists. However, inflation is a real problem that is affecting the lives of ordinary people. The cost of living crisis is a more relatable term that can help people understand the impact of inflation on their wallets.

It is important to keep the message simple and euphemistic when talking to voters about the cost of living crisis. People are already feeling stressed and anxious about the rising cost of living. We don't want to add to their anxiety by using complex language or jargon.

I actually think it's more evil than this, they call it cost of living so they can politicize consumption, "why would you need so much gas?! You shouldnt eat so much meat anyway" inflation is just a technical term, living is being redefined
