I don't know how it ends for civilians but realistically looking at this, Hamas put Israel into a corner from which there's only one possibility: total destruction of Hamas and total control over Gaza, at least medium term. Anything else will be seen as weakness both by enemies of Israel and Israelis. And I think the rest of the Arab countries also understand that and already accepted it...

The tragic part is the lack of refugee corridors, that's genocidal and all nations should be ashamed.
