Just playing around with Garnet, an Amethyst clone with Monero integration. You have to uninstall Amethyst before installing Garnet. Looks great so far! Amazing Work.

I was curious how this fork works so I tried playing with it. I still can't get it to update in Obtainium.
Unfortunately I have no experience with Obtainium.

If you try to update Amethyst to Garnet using Obtainium, it won't work because the signatures are different. One must be uninstalled to install the other.
You can't install both? That's silly.
I'm having the same problem. Other apps update in Obtainium fine, this one doesn't. No error, no "not installed", it downloads, installer launches, click install, get a toast from Obtainium that says "apps updated" and it's still not updated. That's what youre seeing?
That's what its doing for me, I go to update, but it just stays as version .1. I've tried completely removing it but it just reverts to .1. I know Obtainium is very specific on how you number releases, so I don't know if it being numbered "0.1" and the next being numbered "v0.2.0" is causing the issue.
It runs fine for me in Obtainium.
But you need to remove Amethyst before being able to start it.
No I've done that. Deleted the app, removed it from Obtainium and added fresh. Its still stays at 0.1. It was more of a curiosity for me than anything. I reinstallled Amethyst afterwards.
