Just to be clear, everyone that was here over a month ago will leave #nostr if it becomes compromised.
The difference with #nostr and TT, YT, X, etc is that we have principals we want in our social media. We aren’t brand crazy.
If we have to leave to get what we want, we will. The others will try to capture you.
How can a decentralized site become compromise? That’s the whole point of it being decentralized is that there’s no one single point of failure
That is by design, but code isn’t perfect. There were many that attempted pure social media and money before Nostr and bitcoin. All of them failed up till now.
These are the best we have, but they are by no means perfect.
