What’s the significance of using it as opposed to lightning?
Today I'm putting together a tutorial on nostr:npub1dx5q2el8nd4eh3eg9t2e25fd7zuqg7zxz6ldkc3uzgh66ss2yc6st288sj - ecash integrated with lightning and nostr. Anything in particular you guys would like me to include in the video?

I would say ecash is a decent alternative to custodial lightning. Reason being is that the mint has no idea who owns what, vs custodial lightning providers knowing the balance of each user.
Even upon withdrawal to an external lightning wallet, there's no way to know which user sent the transaction, so you're kind of hiding in the crowd of everyone in a particular mint.
