No. I travel everywhere all the time. This I would be locked out of my home local feed most days and I couldn't post to one I would be at in a few days.
Oh, one Q: is the nearest distance 5miles? I get it for opsec reasons but couldn't we shorten it to 1mile or less?
Why wouldn't you be able to post in a local feed of a city you're in for few days?
The minimum distance is set at 5 miles to protect privacy, and also because displaying 1 mile instead of 5 doesn't significantly change the perception of someone's proximity.
We always prioritize privacy above all
Sorry, I was unclear... I meant say a city I was going to be in but am not in, yet. Like say I'm going to travel to Osaka Japan next month and was wanting to meet people ahead of time through the app... Would a geofencing not break that ability or am I misunderstanding the feed you're talking about?
