I don’t speak for them, but I’d suggest that they have not and are not building a product for those who want fine-grained control over everything, but a product that “just works” for the other 99%.

from what i've read it has something to do with how the system is structured as one large docker container compared to say startos that does separate containers for each app.
props to them on the beautiful looking system but regardless being able to access your node outside your LAN is a super basic need that "the 98%" will likely hit if they use any app beyond just core/electrs
