I wanted to like the Isaacson biography but couldn't. It just didn't feel representative of what other people said of Jobs in things like Triumph of the Nerds and the way he approached questions in the Cringely interview.

did you manage to finish it, or did you end up tapping out?

Honestly, I don't know enough about jobs to evaluate how accurate the Biography is. I'm basically learning about him through this bio, for better or worse.

I do know that Jobs actively sought out Walter to write his biography, and he does seem to have a good reputation for this sort of thing, fwiw.

I'll try to check out Triumph of the Nerds when I'm done.

I tapped out. Triumph of the Nerds was a PBS special based on Accidental Empires.

I like his interviews most. Cringelys The Lost Interview is classic. The Computerworld one seems good.
