I truly hope the human ear is as discerning as the eye. AI is good but deep fakes can still be detected when something visually seems out of place. If we follow that instinct, at least for now, we're not fooled.

Music by machine lacks soul. The soul that can move one to tears. Think of Whitney singing the national anthem at the Superbowl. Humans breath life into music that AI can't *yet* replicate. I fear that we will become complacent with sound/music accepting the formulaic equivalent of the "millennial woop" as AI strives to create the next 15sec ear-worm Tik Tok sensation.

Top 40 hits have given way to clicks. 100 million impressions now ranks supreme.

Will AI one day improvise and innovate the direction of music as Charlie Parker once did? We'll have to see. For now, I'm betting against the machine.
