I don't know, cold plunges have been around for a while with athletes

I lift often and I'm thinking this would be a nice way to close my workouts

Cold plunges are best as contrast therapy with sauna. Only time I have found them valuable and most beneficial.

I have no experience to talk from hence the question

Its easy to start and see how/if the cold exposure can help.

Wouldn't that reduce the hypertrophic effect though?
