Would instant translations remove the social problem?

People wouldn’t need to actually learn the language, but the language could be designed to optimize translating from other languages to maximize connectivity.

Yes, that would be beneficial, but again that’s more of just an advanced google translate tool than it is a true universal language

Don’t let this reality be an obstacle - you can still start an amazing secret language and write in cool text and with cool communication conventions, your network effect will just likely be very small and unable to compete with adopted languages like English, Mandarin, etc 😂
