I still can't really explain why 99% of nostr is so nice when it's the only place you can't get banned or censored?

Like why did we not instantly become 4chan?

There is no algorithm to identify and surface content that enrages you. It lowers the temperature and discourages people who monetize rage from participating.

Also bullies and trolls get off on surviving for as long as possibpe in a place that can eject them. This is not that place.

yes. People feel like saying the "wrong" thing when they know they are not allowed to say it.
