This might be a can of worms, but could you explain Christian Orthodoxy?

haha, so from your particular worldview, you'd find it similar in the emphasis on asceticism. It's the most consistent Christian tradition to the first century church. I find that Orthodoxy is more focused on how the individual lives than articulating dogmatic progressive philosophy like the western church. Of course, as with all Christian groups, Jesus is the God-man who redeemed all of mankind and provided them a way of living and a hope to become partakers of the divine.

In that case I'm like Orthodox Hindu, even though that term is probably completely captured in India. The actions of the individual and a focus on righteousness and proper action is at the core of Hinduism for me. I didn't grow up in India, so I don't know what all the different branches are like, but man let me tell you that most Hindus you meet don't value that foundation.
