I have this recurring memory from when I was in third grade or so and I managed to walk to the park and buy a cherry coke for 50 cents from an outside vending machine and was so fuckin' happy to have accomplished that. I couldn't believe I had it in my hands. I wonder what makes me think about that moment seemingly randomly over the years.

By yourself ?

No I think my step brother was with me. I could be wrong, but we had walked to the park for another reason and I broke away from the group or whatever and detoured to the vending machine. It's hard to say. I was pretty lach key growing up but it was summer and that usually meant my step brother was around and we did almost everything together during that time.

That’s a cool memory

Realizing that you have the ability to affect your will to accomplish your goals is a very empowering thought.

In order to develop into something more Divine than we started we should be developing our understanding and our power to experience the victory and glory of accomplishment.

I would suggest that the recollection of that memory on occasion is a reminder to keep doing more of that in the same way that that memory of that 350 yard drive you smoked that one time keeps you coming back out to the golf course to try again.

I need to start journaling again and pay more attention to my thoughts.

the dopamine rush from all the sugar imprinted hardddd

It could be as simple as that, admittedly.

That's a great accomplishment. It's good to remember your past success.

Other than my child it's pretty much been downhill since then
