I spend a little over $2,000 a month providing daily free breakfast to thousands of underprivileged workers in my local area.

This is my third year and I use my own money to do it.

If everyone at least tried to do something similar, we can easily eradicate world hunger.

Consider it at least.

give a man a fish.... kudos though, the only effective kind of charity is private

I don't understand. Who are these underprivileged workers and why can't their afford breakfast if they work?

Also, if there are thousands of them, I'm struggling to see how $2,000/month can make a difference

- Find the cheapest food suppliers

- Buy wholesale

- Pay in advance

- Ask food supplier for discounts

- Tell food supplier about reasons for purchase

- Increase distribution efficiency

All these methods, plus others, can help reduce costs.

Lower costs = more people fed for the same monthly budget.

Make sense. I'm still struggling to accept there are people who work and yet can't afford to buy their own breakfast. Fucking dystopia
