Nostr Web Client

Welp. Tonight is one of those nights. One where I am lying in bed wondering just what the hell I'm doing here. Nostr is cool, it's interesting, but it's turning into another time waster. Something I use to procrastinate. Now I should be asleep. During the day I should be working, growing, learning.

The devs don't have this issue, they're out there making stuff. nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m doesn't. He's a man of few words, I've noticed. he's out there focused on his mission instead.

It doesn't feel like I have one. I'm also searching for the healthy balance between not getting wrapped up with tech I don't need and doing something worthwhile with my time.

I like it on here. It's sane and many here are like-minded in a few ways. But it using leaves me feeling empty just like other social media.

Anyways, my thoughts are not very well put together. I can only apologize. I'll probably regret posting. Regardless:

Ever since this post I've been spending more time developing a little project for fun. It's not NOSTR related, and it will never see the light of day beyond to me and my GF. That being said, I think this thing will be the building block of something I do want to build for NOSTR.

I have some simple rules I have to follow:

- I have to try to figure stuff out on my own before I seek help.

- I have to implement things mostly from scratch. There are a few exceptions, like database drivers and data viz tools.

It feels good to make stuff again. A few times I even got into flow state.

Plan B of becoming a plumber is on hold.
