Just a few days off twitter and my life is so much improved. Almost as much as when I swore off seed oils.
Man twitter is bad for the mind.

Man twitter is bad for the mind.
It’s quite the mind virus.
That's a great analogy. Twitter and Facebook are the seed oils of the internet. They're unnatural, toxic, and promote inflammation.
Meanwhile, Nostr is bacon grease...
I'm not sure where I first heard the concept, but "content diet" is a great concept. Watching what you consume goes beyond the kitchen.
I never looked at Twitter, Facebook was bad enough, my former employer demanded we had a profile… I’m glad to hear i made a a good decision
I only had a Twitter account for 3 months and I could feel that it was making me sick. It was like a giant weight being lifted from me when I ignored my final account expiry notification. It’s the same feeling I had when I killed my FakeBook account in 2003. I know that I have denied myself countless business, networking and value sharing opportunities by rejecting social media for the last 20 years. And I’m really wondering how a person exits the fiat mines 100% without capitalizing on it in some way in this day and age. But then I look at my garden, water system, pantry, armoury, backup power system, Tor server, Bitcoin stack and vax free family, and think about the hours I spent on those things instead of doom scrolling social media.
PS The best part of Nostr for me has been finally finding The Survival Podcast. I can’t believe you’ve been at it for 16 years and I’m only finding you now lol. You’re doing God’s work man. #tsp
